Planned Pro roles

Status

Pro accounts, role management, invitations, and billing controls are not available yet. This page documents the intended role model only; it does not enable a plan or change anyone's access today.

Proposed role boundaries

• Owner: full control of business settings, users, pricing, estimates, jobs, branding, and account decisions.
• Admin: manages office workflows, clients, price book entries, estimates, jobs, and customer documents.
• Estimator: creates clients, pricing entries, estimates, revisions, and quote emails.
• Crew lead: works from assigned jobs, reviews relevant estimates, and uploads field photos.
• Viewer: has read-only visibility for bookkeepers, advisors, or owners who do not need to make changes.

What will come later

When Pro is available, the workspace should make role assignment explicit, show the permissions granted by each role, and let the business change access without changing estimate history. Until then, registration creates one company workspace without asking the new user to choose a role.
